This is a remote full time role and can be held from anywhere in the world. We are fully remote from day one. Our team is spread across Europe, India and Australia.
🧶 About the role
You will help other people create world class information design and visual communication in a way that feels simple and buttery smooth!
The Chronicle ‘sweet spot’ is at the intersection of product, interaction, visual, and information design. You’ll use these to empower people to present information in a way that’s stunning, effective and highly engaging.
If you want to take ownership of end-to-end experiences and deliver real impact as part of a world-class product team then you’re at the ideal place.
✏️ What you will do
- Work with the team to define products and features, not just execute solutions
- Own design problems end to end, from concept through shipping and beyond
- Build multiple prototypes and iterate to solve complex problems for creators that are both usable, and beautiful
- Obsess over visual design, motion and experience
- Work with developers during build
- Understand our users and define new opportunities for tools that keep our product on the bleeding edge
- Collaborate with Growth teams to ensure our product solutions are represented
- Contribute to thought leadership as a senior member of the design team by providing feedback, direction, and support
- Evolve best practices for the design team
💪 You will be a good fit if you...
- Have 3+ years of successful track record as a Product Designer, User Experience Designer or similar title
- Are passionate about creating both a world-class product aesthetic and a super smooth product experience that creates real value for real people
- Can share examples of your work that
- Communicate complex information in a way that is simple and engaging to understand. - Bonus points for data visualisation or information design.
- Solves genuine needs in a way that is memorable, joyful or engaging.
- Enjoy taking ownership of the full design process from problem definition to solution validation and delivery, with the support of your team.
- Have worked on complex products / apps - Bonus points for working on tools that help users with design, authoring, editing content etc.
